Did you watch all three extended versions of Lord of the Rings and still walk away feeling, strangely empty? Incomplete? Almost as though a piece of the story was still missing? That is because a piece was missing. Today it was released that J.R.R Tolkien's The Hobbit will soon find itself in the starlight. Peter Jackson will be the Executive Producer with a director to be announced in the future. I have a feeling that Mr. Jackson will end up being the director as well.
